Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Digital Designer to join our creative team in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will be responsible for developing high-quality digital experiences and visual assets across our fintech and financial campaigns.

The role combines strong visual and graphic design with digital and UI design, covering areas such as landing pages, websites, digital campaigns, social media, banners, and other online experiences.

You will work closely with marketing, product, content, and design teams to translate briefs and business requirements into visually compelling, user-friendly, and commercially effective digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Digital & Visual Design

• Develop high-quality visual concepts and creative solutions for fintech and financial campaigns.
• Create digital assets such as landing pages, banners, social media content, digital advertisements, EDMs, and other online materials.
• Develop campaign key visuals and creative directions that can be adapted across multiple digital platforms and markets.
• Translate marketing briefs and business objectives into strong visual solutions.
• Maintain a premium, modern, and consistent visual standard across digital touchpoints.
• Adapt designs for different markets, platforms, screen sizes, and campaign requirements.

UI & Web Design

• Design user interfaces for websites, landing pages, and other digital experiences.
• Apply strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, usability, and responsive design.
• Create intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Work closely with marketing and relevant stakeholders to ensure designs are practical and accurately implemented.
• Contribute to and maintain digital design systems, UI components, templates, and visual guidelines.

Creative Direction & Quality

• Take ownership of digital design projects from concept through to final delivery.
• Develop visual direction and creative solutions based on project requirements and business objectives.
• Review and refine designs to ensure quality, consistency, usability, and alignment with brand standards.
• Provide creative guidance, feedback, and support to junior designers.
• Help improve design standards, templates, processes, and workflows across the team.
• Ensure design quality and consistency across multiple projects and digital touchpoints.
• Work closely with marketing, product, content, motion, and other design teams to deliver digital projects.
• Communicate design concepts, rationale, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Gather and incorporate feedback while managing revisions efficiently.
• Collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective design solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in digital design, graphic design, UI design, or a related creative role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design, web/UI design, and visual design.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, colour, visual hierarchy, and design principles.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive digital design.
• Experience designing websites, landing pages, or other digital experiences.
• Ability to independently develop creative solutions from briefs and business requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of premium digital aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage, particularly for communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional markets.
• A strong portfolio showcasing digital, web/UI, and visual design work is required.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of responsive web and digital interface design.

Preferred

• Experience with design systems and UI component libraries.
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience providing guidance and feedback to junior designers.
• Experience maintaining design quality and consistency across multiple projects.
• Experience with motion design or After Effects.

Industry Experience

• Experience in fintech or financial services is highly advantageous.
• An understanding of digital financial products, platforms, and emerging digital trends is a strong plus.
