Job summary

Golden Tougen Malaysia is seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to oversee daily procurement activities and purchasing operations. You will source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and favorable terms, while developing strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 2–3 years in administration and procurement is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily procurement activities and purchasing operations.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, quality, and terms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and business partners.
• Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documents.
• Review requisitions and ensure purchases align with budgets and approvals.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms with suppliers.
• Ensure stock availability and timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, Sales, and Management.
• Monitor outstanding purchase orders and supplier delivery status.
• Maintain records of suppliers, POs, invoices, and quotations.
• Assist in procurement reporting and budget monitoring.
• Supervise junior procurement staff where required.
• Handle supplier disputes and delivery issues.
• Support management in procurement strategy development and process improvement.
