Job summary

Quess Malaysia in Pasir Gudang, Johor is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage supplier negotiation, procurement planning, and supplier records for timely, cost-effective sourcing. The role requires a Diploma or higher in Purchasing Management or related field, with SAP familiarity and at least one year in mechanical manufacturing procurement.

The successful candidate will coordinate with production teams, monitor costs, and ensure quality throughout sourcing and purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Purchasing Management, Mechanical Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Training in purchasing skills, business negotiation, commercial law, and product knowledge is preferred.
• At least one year of purchasing experience in the mechanical manufacturing industry.
• Experience in material procurement, purchasing management, and supplier sourcing is preferred.
• Familiar with material purchasing processes and SAP operations.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of the mechanical manufacturing industry.
