ASMPT is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to oversee commodity strategies, supplier negotiations, and global alignment across regional and local markets. You will lead sourcing activities, drive cost optimization, and ensure supplier compliance through end-to-end lifecycle management.

Oversee the optimization of products’ time to market and their supply/logistics chains through ensuring sustainable quality/cost/delivery of materials. To maintain high capacities, timely product deliveries and total cost of ownership, hence, driving the section’s contribution to operating profit and competitivity of the organization. Influent the organization with in-depth market situation and ensure supply competitiveness via costing / Quality / Supply assurance. Foster the supply chain commitment and relationship with Internal stake holder as well external business partner and exert influence and optimize internal processes and procedures
Strategize and Support the Commodity organization, resource planning, training and coaching to new and Junior colleagues
Should Costs Estimation of commodity in charge; in ensuring costs competiveness for NPI, Localisation and DTC
Develop and implementation of the Commodity Strategy for Regional as well to align with Global Commodity lead on Global strategy
Lead and ensure the enforcement on Commodity strategy implementation, from NPI and till product “end of life” Cycle
Supply lead in maintaining Business relationship, supplier development and key liaison in representing the organization
Develop and lead Cost initiative and responsible for negotiation with direct purchase and next tier suppliers where necessary, ensure competitiveness and contribution to the organization
Contract negotiation and overall management with supplier to ensure supplier compliance on Warranty / Quality / Inventory / Supply commitment are legally binded.
Monitor products’ drift costs and the effecting of cost optimizations in key procurement areas such as strategies, supplier selections, inquiries, negotiations, and knowledge management on potential new technologies.
Ensure that procurement is compliant to pre-defined processes and required documentations, such as quality check related documents, are obtained and recorded.
Oversee the promotion of material status from stages of manufacturing freeze until series. Driver in design to cost (DTC) or cost reduction processes via structural cost analyses, ensuring that target costs are feasible between suppliers and project adaptions.
Lead the Sourcing activity and supplier selection process, support R&D department on Technology scouting
Close monitoring of industrial Market situation and Technology trend, scouting and introduce competitive suppliers, product innovations to enhance product portfolio
Manage supplier base compliance and supply assurance and participate in problem solving Manage Commodity supply localization, liaison with Global site on stock balancing and allocation to ensure seamless supply transfer
Responsible for Drift cost targets tracking and lead implementation on assigned Project Negotiate / Present negotiation results / coordinate with GCM / SP (goal setting and/or implementation or participation in negotiations)
Minimum Degree or Diploma with 5 years experiences in Mechanical / Electrical /Electronic Engineering
Minimum 5 years of Supplier Commodity or Sourcing Management, with Engineering related experience >5 years of Procurement experiences, in the same industries for Level 1 position
