KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan-2-Steer process design & improvementSupport the review of current Plan-2-Steer process design or dedicated sub-processes and flag areas for improvementImplement and operationalize improvement measures in close alignment with the OS&S Plan-2-Steer delivery teamsSupport process standardization and alignment across the end-2-end service scope, spanning across Omya's headquarter and Omya's business units
- Plan-2-Steer governance and complianceSupport the development and implementation of KPIs to ensure effective process management (steering dimensions: efficiency, compliance, quality)Apply and maintain process standards, templates, and control matricesContribute to the implementation of internal controls in line with Omya's Group IC S guidance and frameworks to mitigate risks and increase the level of compliance in close collaboration with risk managementEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and Omya's process standardsMaintain the process architecture documentation (e.g., Process Flowcharts, etc.) and support further development of the process architecture in the course of the implementation
- Plan-2-Steer performance management and continuous improvementCollaborate closely with Omya's internal IT department and other relevant stakeholders to support configuration decisions and digital enablers (e.g., automation, process mining)Support systemic implementation into process design incl. definition of all system specificationsExecute CI backlog measures and ensure regular tracking and maintenance of backlog items
- Operational executionExecute tasks within the OS&S Process Management team in a quality and timely manner to maintain and develop the standard process modelSupport group-wide projects/initiatives and adhere to milestones in a quality and timely mannerImplement measures to improve the Plan-2-Steer or respective sub-processes and introduce measures into the OS&S delivery teamsSupport efficient handover points between up- and downstream processes, e.g., validated KPI dashboards are provided to steering committees, where requiredHandle exceptions and resolve process-related issues promptlySupport the documentation of business requirements and, if required, functional test scriptsMaintain playbooks and training materials and support the development of new training content as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- EducationUniversity degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
- ExperienceMin. 5 years of relevant working experience in a processor function-related position and leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge and skillsProven experience with Plan-2-Steer, Record-2-report process execution or related business field (Finance, Accounting)Deep knowledge of process modeling, service delivery frameworks & process governanceStrong knowledge of core controlling processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and planning cyclesExpertise in IFRS, internal controls and risk managementFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies and transformation initiativesHandson experience with SAP ERP, S/4HANA preferredStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills with a bias to actionHands-on mentality and able to manage conflictsWillingness to question the status quo and to dig into detailsStrong organizational skills and ability to executeCreative and critical thinking skills
- Other requirementsExcellent command of both oral and written English are requiredGood command of both oral and written additional language is beneficialWillingness to travel up to 20-25%
