Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Process Engineering leader to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across manufacturing lines. You will direct technicians, train staff on equipment maintenance and process optimization, and work with line supervisors and engineers to implement corrective actions to maximize yields.

As a hands-on leader, you will oversee data integrity, backup procedures, and cross‑functional collaboration on tooling, DFMs, and process performance enhancements across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to groups including managers, clients and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with standard situations and limited variables.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Numerical literacy: basic arithmetic and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Leads Process Engineering to achieve high efficiency, integrity and enthusiasm.
• Directs Manufacturing Engineering Technicians on lines and guides steps to optimize machine/process efficiency.
• Provides training on equipment maintenance, programming, and data file creation.
• Interfaces with supervisors and engineers to implement corrective actions for yields and efficiency.
• Mentors METs and assistants in maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
• Ensures data integrity with regular backups across lines.
• Collaborates across functions to suggest DFM improvements and tooling design.
• Manages MET coverage during absences and critical demand periods.
