Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Process Engineer located in Batu Kawan, Penang. The role focuses on cost, quality and delivery improvements within a manufacturing environment and involves defining, implementing, and evaluating manufacturability of processes and designs.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in NPI and PCBA, with a proven ability to drive process improvements, ECOs, and documentation across production teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in NPI and PCBA.

Responsibilities

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Interface with production and provide training during technology transfer.
