Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer in Malaysia to lead unit process development for flux cleaning and related wet processes. The role focuses on parameter scouting, optimization, verification, and characterization to meet project timelines, quality, and cost goals.

The candidate will develop innovative processes, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with Operations for smooth technology transfer and prototype builds.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge and technical expertise in wet processes, including flux cleaning and plating processes.
• Proficiency with DOE and statistical analysis using JMP or Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process development activities including parameter scouting, optimization, verification and characterization.
• Develop innovative processes and characterization methodologies for existing and new technologies, with risk assessments.
• Support prototype builds and ensure effective knowledge transfer to Operations.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives using DMAIC, 8D and root cause analysis.
