Job summary

Allianz General Insurance Company (M) Berhad is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst/Assistant Manager to own pricing design for retail products and to build and refine rating engines. You will deliver financial insights and support pricing strategies across the business.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and drive portfolio performance using Python, SQL, and analytics to improve decision making and value for customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Progress in actuarial examinations is advantageous.
• Strong English communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop technical and commercial pricing for retail products.
• Propose and implement pricing strategies to meet business objectives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and pricing effectiveness.
• Perform financial impact analysis and provide analytics support.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize rating engines and rules.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
