Job summary

AIA Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Actuary to ensure robust product pricing, regulatory alignment and sound distribution compensation. You will analyse financial performance and support pricing initiatives across campaigns and new products.

As Technical Lead, you will validate pricing models, QA tools, and develop dashboards to monitor key metrics. You will collaborate across teams to drive prudent pricing and sustainable growth for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent with strong mathematical/analytical coursework.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.
• Strong oral and written communication and people development abilities.
• At least 3 years of actuarial experience, including 1 year in pricing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product pricing is sound and aligned with Group and local regulatory requirements.
• Ensure distribution channel compensation is sound and aligned with business objectives.
• Produce timely management information and pricing-related analyses to drive decisions.
• Support pricing requests, campaigns and reinsurance arrangements as needed.
• Quality assurance for pricing templates, tools and sales illustrations.
• Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc analyses for other functions.
