Allianz General Insurance Company (M) Berhad is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst/Assistant Manager in Kuala Lumpur to own pricing engines, deliver insights, and shape pricing strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and mentor junior team members in a dynamic pricing department.

The role requires actuarial/CS/Math degree, 2–5 years’ experience, strong English communication, and proficiency in Python/SQL with MS Office; radar base knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Good progress in internationally recognized actuarial examinations.
• Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High learning agility and work efficiency.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English with good communication skills.
• Experience or knowledge of Willis Towers Watson pricing software (Radar Base) is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office; programming experience in Python and SQL; AI tools knowledge is a plus.

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize rating engines and underwriting rules.
• Liaise, collaborate and effectively communicate with various stakeholders to drive business results and present insights.
• Mentor, supervise, empower, and develop capabilities of junior members.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and develop technical and commercial pricing for retail products

Key Requirements

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics equivalent
• Talents with at least 2-5 years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply
• Good progress in internationally recognized actuarial examinations
• Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High learning agility and work efficiency
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, with good communication skills
• Advantages to candidates having knowledge and interest in Willis Towers Watson pricing software (especially Radar Base), database software, and statistical modelling software for analytics
• Proficient in the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and work quality
• Strong computer application skills in MS Office suite and programming language such as Python, SQL
