Pacific & Orient Insurance Co. Berhad is seeking an Assistant Manager in Pricing & Product Development (Actuarial) to support pricing and development of general insurance products.

You will provide technical assistance across marketing, underwriting, claims management, and system development while coordinating premium structures and rate changes with relevant departments. You will also prepare monthly performance reports, contribute to business projections, and prepare regulator submissions.

Formación

• Degree in Actuarial or relevant fields
• Progress in Actuarial examinations
• Strong statistical analysis and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsabilidades

• Assist in product development and pricing of general insurance products.
• Provide technical support on general insurance matters including marketing, underwriting, claims management and system development.
• Coordinate with departments on premium structure, rate changes and system readiness.
• Perform monthly monitoring reports for different lines of business and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct business projections for planning purposes.
• Prepare documents for regulator submissions.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing
