Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks a Senior Molding Operations Leader to head precision injection molding for connector products. You will drive process stability, tooling optimization, productivity, and automation to meet growth and customer requirements.

The role targets 10+ years in precision molding with strong leadership, hands-on optimization skills, and experience with high-cavitation molds and advanced resins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymer, or Tooling Engineering.
• 10+ years in precision injection molding, preferably connectors or electronics manufacturing.
• 5+ years of managerial or leadership experience in molding operations.
• Strong molding process optimization and tooling troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of engineering resins such as LCP, PA9T, PA10T, PPS, and high GF materials.
• Experience with high-cavitation precision molds, hot runner systems, and automation.
• Proven problem-solving and cross-functional leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily molding production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
• Develop and optimize molding processes for precision connector components.
• Troubleshoot molding and tooling issues (flash, short shot, gas marks, warpage, etc.).
• Drive cycle time reduction, yield improvement, scrap reduction, and machine efficiency.
• Collaborate with tooling teams on mold design, maintenance, qualification and yield.
• Support new product introduction, mold trials, process validation and ramp-up.
• Lead continuous improvement in molding, automation and operations.
• Manage and develop molding engineers, technicians, supervisors and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and manufacturing standards.
