Job summary

AMD is seeking a hands-on engineer for post-silicon validation of Data Center GPU products, owning PTVF characterization end-to-end. You will develop robust test plans, debug complex failures, and drive improvements in yield and reliability.

Responsibilities span silicon, firmware, platform, and manufacturing interfaces, with a focus on coverage, guard-banding, and robust validation across DVFS states and thermal corners. Penang-based role with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong post-silicon debug expertise in complex SoCs or GPUs/CPUs.
• Solid understanding of PPA and DVFS, thermal behavior, and performance optimization.
• Experience with manufacturing test flows (ATE, system-level test) and defect screening.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy post-silicon manufacturing test plans for power, thermal, voltage, and frequency conditions.
• Lead root-cause analysis across silicon, firmware, platform, and test infrastructure.
• Optimize PPA trade-offs and verify DVFS stability across thermal corners and workloads.
• Validate voltage, frequency, and thermal behavior under real-world workloads.
• Improve yield and test effectiveness using data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with design, firmware, and manufacturing teams to enable scalable validation flows.
