Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required; master’s degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in power projects (power generation, green energy, distribution, substation, high voltage, switchgear, mining, rail, defense, heavy industry or similar).
• Create, review and critique designs, commissioning test plans, procedures and reports.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 quality practices and ISO 31000 risk management.
• Develop and maintain engineering deliverable plans and track progress for their team.
• Strong planning, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering to deliver medium to large projects in power generation.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to plan and direct work for junior engineers.
• Assess engineering input needs for projects and identify risks.
• Interface with customers and sub-suppliers on engineering matters.
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams on technical issues.
