Job summary

Cummins Asia Pacific is seeking a Power Generation Application Engineer in Malaysia to be a senior technical liaison for OEMs and customers. The role focuses on applying Cummins products to customer vehicles, developing installation requirements, and delivering high-performance, cost-effective solutions.

You will interact with sales and engineering teams, support product development programs, and ensure installations meet Cummins standards and customer environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering or related field.
• Senior or Lead Engineer experience in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical liaison between OEMs and Cummins customers.
• Apply Cummins products to customer applications and develop installation requirements.
• Lead product selection, design, and integration decisions impacting performance.
• Provide technical data, specifications, and change communications to customers.
• Translate customer needs into functional product requirements for new programs.
