Job summary

Cummins Malaysia is seeking a Power Generation Application Engineer in Puchong to bridge OEMs and Cummins product teams, translating customer needs into actionable specifications and supporting installation and optimization of power solutions.

This role requires knowledge of diesel/generator systems, diagram interpretation, and cross-functional collaboration within a flexible onsite model.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of diesel/generator sets and power systems.
• Experience aligning customer requirements with product specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical liaison between OEMs and Cummins teams during product development programs.
• Translate customer needs into functional product requirements for new developments.
• Support product selection and equipment design for power generation solutions.
• Ensure installations meet Cummins requirements and customer system needs.
