Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Sustaining Engineer to ensure product reliability and operational continuity across our power electronics portfolio. You will lead complex failure analyses, drive root-cause investigations for design-related issues, and manage ECR/ECN processes while providing hands-on support to production teams.

The role requires strong theory of power topologies, extensive hands-on experience with switching power supplies, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years in switching power supply or electronics industry.
• Experience in switching power supply R&D preferred.
• Strong knowledge of power topologies: Boost, Buck, Flyback, LLC, Phase-Shifted Full Bridge.
• Understanding EMI/EMC safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end failure analyses and root-cause investigations.
• Draft detailed FA reports to support design improvements.
• Manage ECR/ECN workflows with cross-functional teams.
• Track issues from open to closure.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production.
