Job summary

T-FOOTPRINT is seeking a Post-Silicon Validation Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to support validation and bring-up of next-generation semiconductor products. You will craft validation strategies, execute test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug silicon and system-level issues.

Responsibilities include validating hardware/software, analyzing results, and driving root-cause analysis and resolution across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of post-silicon validation, power & performance validation, hardware validation, system validation, memory validation or related field.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills with cross-boundary collaboration.
• Experience with Python, C/C++, or similar languages is an advantage.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, or software-based validation tools is beneficial.

• Develop and execute validation tests using appropriate hardware and software tools.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and perform system-level debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve validation issues.
• Track, document, and report validation progress, test results, and technical issues throughout the development cycle.
• Develop and improve validation methodologies, test processes, and debugging approaches to improve test efficiency and product quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in post-silicon validation, power & performance validation, hardware validation, system validation, memory validation or a related field.
• Good understanding of digital hardware and computer system architecture.
• Experience developing and executing hardware/software-based validation tests.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to work across hardware and software boundaries.
• Familiarity with common validation and debug tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, or software-based validation tools is an advantage.
• Experience with scripting/programming such as Python, C/C++, or similar languages is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple engineering teams.
