Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer to join our team for the development of our next-generation POS+ platform. The role requires hands-on experience with POS systems, retail solutions, Windows desktop apps, and modern .NET technologies.

You will design, develop, and maintain POS applications, integrate with hardware devices, and build scalable offline-online synchronization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field is required.
Fresh graduates may be considered for Junior positions with strong WPF/.NET project experience.
Senior positions require proven POS or retail solution development experience.
Nice-to-have: experience with fiscal printers, e-invoicing, and payment integrations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain POS+ applications using modern .NET technologies.
Develop Windows desktop applications using WPF.
Develop web-based management modules using Blazor.
Implement offline-first architecture using SQLite and synchronization services.
Integrate with retail hardware devices such as Receipt Printers, Fiscal Printers, EDC / Payment Terminals, Barcode Scanners, Cash Drawers, Customer Displays
Develop and maintain APIs and backend services.
Implement data synchronization using Kafka or other messaging technologies.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Participate in software design, code review, and technical discussions.
Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
