Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain POS applications using modern .NET technologies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/SE.
• Minimum 1 year of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with WPF, ASP.NET Core, REST API, SQL databases.
• Experience with SQLite and Git version control.
• Solid understanding of OO design principles.
• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain POS applications using .NET technologies.
• Develop web-based management modules using Blazor.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Implement offline-first architecture using SQLite and synchronization services.
• Integrate applications with retail hardware (printers, scanners, cash drawers, terminals).
• Implement data synchronization using Kafka or similar messaging tech.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
