Job summary

Horizontal Talent seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design and develop robust Windows desktop applications using C# and the .NET framework. This on-site role is based at Uptown Damansara with five days a week.

You will participate in the full software lifecycle, write clean code, optimize existing systems like POS, ERP, and Warehouse, and collaborate across teams. A Diploma or higher in CS/SE and at least three years of .NET experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Windows desktop/Web apps using C# and ASP.NET.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework/.NET Core and Visual Studio.
• Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Windows desktop applications with C# and .NET.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Maintain POS/ERP/Warehouse systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Document features and improve development processes.
