Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician for MECO, Water Jet and Chemical dipping equipment, to troubleshoot, repair and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime. You will execute preventive maintenance, maintain records in SAP, and support safety and 5S/cleanroom protocols.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics and 3-5 years' experience in semiconductor plating. Shift work (12 hours) day/night is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair MECO, Water Jet & Chemical dipping equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions to achieve equipment downtime KPI targets.
• Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and ensure all PM records are accurately completed and updated (e-checklist and SAP)
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance projects aimed at improving Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), including speed, cost and quality performance
• Assist with new tool/equipment installation and commissioning as required, including setup support and handover readiness
• Maintain full compliance with Safety, 5S & Cleanroom protocols and promote a safe and disciplined work environment.
