Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Malaysia is seeking an engineering professional to troubleshoot and repair plating, water jet and chemical dipping equipment, and to implement corrective/preventive actions to meet downtime KPI targets.

You will perform scheduled PMs, maintain accurate records in e-checklists and SAP, and contribute to continuous improvement projects to boost OEE, speed, cost, and quality. A 12-hour shift and plating-experience advantage are noted in the profile.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience.
• Experience in plating industry will be an advantage.
• Able to work in 12 hours Shift.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Plating, Water Jet & Chemical dipping equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions to achieve equipment downtime KPI targets.
• Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and ensure all PM records are accurately completed and updated (e-checklist and SAP).
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance projects aimed at improving Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), including speed, cost and quality performance.
• Assist with new tool/equipment installation and commissioning as required, including setup support and handover readiness.
• Maintain full compliance with Safety, 5S & Cleanroom protocols and promote a safe and disciplined work environment.
