Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia is seeking a maintenance engineer to service plating, water jet and chemical dipping equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair issues, and implement corrective actions to meet downtime KPIs.

The role involves performing preventive maintenance, updating PM records in e-checklists and SAP, and supporting CI projects to improve OEE, speed, cost and quality. You will also assist with new tool installation and must follow Safety, 5S and Cleanroom protocols.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in plating industry is advantageous.
Willing to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair Plating, Water Jet & Chemical dipping equipment issues, identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions to achieve equipment downtime KPI targets.
Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities and ensure all PM records are accurately completed and updated (e-checklist and SAP).
Support continuous improvement and maintenance projects aimed at improving Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), including speed, cost and quality performance.
Assist with new tool/equipment installation and commissioning as required, including setup support and handover readiness.
Maintain full compliance with Safety, 5S & Cleanroom protocols and promote a safe and disciplined work environment.
