Job summary
Great Eastern is seeking a Lead Platform Reliability Engineer (PRE) to design, build, and operate our container platform and supporting infrastructure. You will safeguard cloud-native applications, guide application teams in reliability best practices, and serve as Level 3 on-call lead during incidents.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years in IT with 7+ years in Platform Reliability Engineering / SRE.
- 5+ years automation experience (Ansible, Python, Bash).
- 3+ years managing NSX-T with Tanzu products.
- Experience designing large-scale enterprise platforms and DevOps pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain stability and reliability of the internal container platform and infrastructure.
- Evaluate architecture for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and resolve production incidents.
- Review security advisories and deploy updates for Tanzu products.
- Lead the PRE team and manage on-call roster and release resources.
- Oversee ServiceNow queue and Jira stories within defined SLAs.
- Act as Level 3 support lead during major incidents and drive RCA.
