Job summary

HFG Insurance Recruitment is seeking a Senior Platform Reliability Engineer to maintain the stability and efficiency of the internal container platform and its supporting infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and incident response.

You will drive automation, optimize performance and cost, participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and implement Helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, and Tanzu/Kubernetes integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–7 years in IT, with 3–5 years as Platform Reliability Engineer / SRE managing container platforms (Kubernetes/Tanzu).
• Experience with automation (Ansible, Python, Bash).
• Experience with Helm charts and repositories.
• Experience with NSX-T and Tanzu suite integration.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
• Strong monitoring/observability skills (Grafana, Dynatrace).
• CI/CD, Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence/Nexus familiarity.
• Team collaboration and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stability, reliability, and efficiency of the internal container platform and supporting infrastructure.
• Provision resources, respond to outages, monitor systems.
• Identify reliability issues, optimize performance, and reduce costs.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and address production incidents.
• Automate manual processes to improve workflows.
• Deploy product updates to keep platform secure.
• Work with open-source tech, CI/CD, source control, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance risks are mitigated.
• Share best risk management practices and document SOPs.
