Job summary

Encora Inc. in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Tanzu Engineer with 5+ years of IT infrastructure and platform engineering, including hands-on VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes expertise to deploy, manage, and support container platforms enabling cloud-native delivery.

You will automate deployments with IaC, monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines while applying security, backup, patching, and disaster recovery practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes expertise.
• Experience with Docker, Helm, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere, NSX, and vSAN is an advantage.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or scripting (Bash/Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong Linux administration, networking, and cloud-native capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage VMware Tanzu Kubernetes environments.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, networking, and storage.
• Automate platform deployment and configuration using IaC.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot container, Kubernetes, and Tanzu platform issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement platform security, backup, patching, and disaster recovery best practices.
