Job summary

Zuellig Pharma seeks a Principal Engineer to lead Group Technology across the Malaysia hub, overseeing the FSO process, governance, and platforms that scale across the organization. You will shape engineering standards, drive architecture reviews, and mentor senior engineers while aligning technical direction with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with org-level technical leadership.
• Proven experience defining engineering standards, governance frameworks, and platform strategy at scale.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma/healthcare/fintech/logistics) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee org-wide FSO process, BRD review standards, vendor evaluation, and integration gates.
• Set and enforce engineering governance, standards, and release processes.
• Lead architecture review and long-term platform direction.
• Translate business direction into technical roadmap and strategy.
• Mentor engineers and drive AI-assisted development practices.
