Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own platform initiatives from design to deployment. You will work onsite in Petaling Jaya, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with security, SRE, and product teams to enable fast, safe software delivery.

The role focuses on building scalable infrastructure and platforms, not just pipelines; expect coding with Go or Python, strong Linux fundamentals, and a strong emphasis on reliability and guardrails across the stack.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands-on platform engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps experience delivering complex projects.
Comfortable working in a geographically distributed team.

Responsibilities

Operate and evolve Kubernetes at scale across large EKS clusters.
Design and run production systems on AWS with Terraform modules.
Own GitLab CI and self-hosted runners for fast, secure delivery.
Automate account lifecycle, IAM, secrets, monitoring, and guardrails.
Build internal services and tooling in Go or Python with tests and code reviews.
Mentor engineers and drive technical reviews and standards.
