Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to prepare and monitor production schedules, ensuring timely delivery to customers. The role involves coordinating with engineers, cell leaders, and supervisors to track order status and allocate lead times.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/Degree in Engineering and possess 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, with strong Excel/database skills and excellent time management.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Material Science).
• 2–3 years working experience in related field in manufacturing or engineering company.
• Well verse in spreadsheet like Excel or database management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare production schedules according to PRC issued by engineers.
• Monitor status of each order updated by project coordinator on regular basis.
• Print master production schedule, establish sequence and lead times to meet delivery dates.
• Communicate daily with cell leaders and production supervisors to update order status and project schedule.
• Highlight and conduct urgent meetings to expedite manufacturing for delays/urgent schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepare production reports (weekly or monthly) and production route cards.
• Work closely with production lead to ensure projects meet customer requirements and delivery dates.

To plan and prepares production schedules according to PRC (Production Route Card) issued by engineers

To monitor the status of each order update by project coordinator on regular basis.

To monitor and print out master production schedule on regular basis, establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet delivery date according to customer required date

To communicate with cell leader or production supervisors on daily basis, to update and monitor status of each order, project leader (if applicable) for assigned project schedule and status update.

To highlight and conduct urgent meeting to expedite process of manufacturing for delay/reworks/urgentschedules to meet unforeseen conditions

To prepares production reports / weekly or monthly outstanding list / production route card

To work closely with production lead to ensure project meet customer requirement and delivery date.

Requirement

Diploma / Degree in engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Material Science)

At least 2 – 3 years working experience in related field in manufacturing or engineering company.

Well verse in spreadsheet like Excel or database management

Responsible and excellent time management and multitask.

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
