EP Engineering in Malaysia seeks an experienced Petrophysicist to lead subsurface evaluations for offshore operations. The role covers interpretation of complex logs and advising on data acquisition strategies.

The candidate should possess 10+ years in oil and gas, with 3+ years in the last decade, and extensive exposure to NMR, dielectric, image log, and RT scanner technologies. Offshore experience and log interpretation software skills are required.

Qualifications

• Total 10+ years as Petrophysicist in oil and gas.
• At least 3 of the last 10 years within the past decade.
• Experience in clastic and carbonate reservoirs.
• Petrophysical evaluation of thin-bedded reservoirs.
• Experience with various logging types and recommending suitable logs.
• Experience logging, pressure tests and fluid sampling; supervising operations.
• Support and guidance to real time drilling and post drilling campaigns.
• Familiar with offshore subsurface in Malaysia.
• Experience with log interpretation software.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert recommendations on the right logs to meet data objectives.
• Supervise logging, pressure testing and fluid sampling operations.
• Support real-time drilling campaigns and post-drilling activities.
• Interpret logs and contribute to offshore reservoir evaluation in Malaysia.
