Zusammenfassung

Thundersoft is seeking an experienced validation engineer in Malaysia to own PCIe Gen5/Gen6 post-silicon validation, platform bring-up and compliance testing. You will work with high-speed instruments, debug signal integrity issues, and perform interoperability tests for retimers and switches.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware validation, scripting in Python/Bash/Perl/PowerShell, and lab automation to streamline test flows.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6 years hands-on PCIe/high-speed interface validation experience.
• Solid PCIe Gen5/Gen6 compliance experience.
• Practical experience with high-bandwidth test equipment and fixtures.
• Post-silicon silicon validation and failure debugging skills.
• Basic scripting in Python, Bash, Perl or PowerShell.

Aufgaben

• Build, bring up and stabilize PCIe test platforms for Gen5/Gen6.
• Perform PCIe electrical and compliance validation per PCI-SIG/CEM.
• Operate oscilloscopes and BERT with compliance fixtures; run eye, jitter, BER tests.
• Debug link training, enumeration, speed/lane issues and SI failures.
• Conduct interoperability testing for retimers and switches.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline validation flows.
