Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Quality Manager for PCBA to lead QA for Printed Circuit Board Assembly, ensuring adherence to standards and driving continuous improvement in product quality.

You will develop and implement a PCBA quality strategy, maintain the QMS, mentor the QA team, perform root-cause analysis, CAPA, supplier audits, and coordinate internal/external audits with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• 1–10 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in quality management systems standards (ISO series).
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and quality tools (Six Sigma, FMEA).
• In-depth knowledge of PCBA processes, IPC standards, and ISO 9001.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to lead a QA team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with quality testing equipment and methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy tailored to PCBA processes, aligning with quality objectives.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and improvement of the QMS, including procedures and documentation.
• Lead and manage the PCBA quality assurance team with mentorship and training.
• Implement robust process control methodologies to monitor PCBA processes and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to assess supplier quality and manage audits.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer quality requirements.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits and prepare for customer audits.
• Drive continuous improvement using quality tools to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer quality inquiries and coordinate communications.
