Job summary

GENITRONIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Sungai Petani, Kedah, seeks a highly skilled PCB Engineer to design, develop, and optimise PCBs for a range of electronic products. The role is full-time and based on-site in Sungai Petani, reporting to the Engineering team.

The ideal candidate holds a 5+ year track record in PCB design, with strong knowledge of signal integrity, EMC, and manufacturing processes, and is fluent in BM, English and Mandarin for diverse client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design and development, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in BM, English and Mandarin.
• Strong understanding of PCB layout principles, including signal integrity, power distribution and EMC.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing PCB layouts, schematics, and BOM for various electronic products.
• Conducting PCB design reviews and providing technical support to the production team.
• Troubleshooting and resolving PCB-related issues to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Proficient in the entire PCBA manufacturing process.
• Familiar with key control points for SMT and DIP processes.
• Able to independently resolve common process anomalies and production technical problems.
• Understands basic principles and maintenance methods of PCBA production equipment and tooling fixtures.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest PCB design technologies, tools, and industry standards.
