Job summary

Power Integrations in Malaysia is seeking a highly autonomous Senior Test Engineer for PCBA test development. The role owns test solutions, test programs, and supports EMS test operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in PCBA test development, strong expertise in Teradyne, LabView, TestStand, Python, C/C++, and Altium. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years in PCBA test development and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Teradyne ICT/FCT/ISP test platforms.
• Proficient in LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C/C++, and C#.
• Experience with automotive-grade PCB testing and VDA/IATF.
• Excellent English communication; willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design test solutions and programs for ICT/FCT/ISP on PCBA.
• Provide production support for multiple test systems.
• Implement new variants' test fixtures and loadboards.
• Create comprehensive test documentation and reports.
• Develop internal test automation tools using Python and Django.
• Drive continuous improvement of test programs and workflows.
• Manage EMS test operations and oversee deployment of testers.
• Coordinate with Biel, Switzerland team on software initiatives.
• Work independently with strong self-learning capabilities.
