Job summary

Power Integrations seeks a Staff Test Engineer in Penang to own PCBA test development and EMS support. The role involves designing test solutions, updating test programs, and coordinating with our Biel, Switzerland team on software initiatives.

The candidate should have extensive experience with Teradyne TestStation, LabVIEW, TestStand, and strong Python/C/C++ skills, along with Altium Designer for PCB-related tasks.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 12+ years in PCBA test development and production support.
• Strong electronics, analog and mixed-signal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design complete Teradyne TestStation TSLH test solutions for ICT/FCT/ISP in series production.
• Provide remote and on-site production support for EMS test operations and tester troubleshooting.
• Implement test programs and fixtures for new PCBAs and transformers.
• Prepare detailed test documentation and perform Gage R&R, Cp/Cpk, and MSA reporting.
• Develop internal test automation tools and backend data management with Python/Django.
