Job summary

Singtel KL is launching a brand-new Shared Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur. We are seeking a Senior Solution Designer (Payroll SME) to design, implement, and support enterprise payroll solutions across cloud-based HR platforms.

You will act as SME for payroll technology, driving solution architecture, system enhancements, and ensuring security, compliance, and scalability. Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT and external vendors to deliver reliable payroll solutions, maintain performance, and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related discipline.
• 8+ years in IT consulting, HRMS, or payroll system delivery; 5+ years payroll in Singapore.
• Experience in at least 2 full-cycle payroll implementations.
• Strong payroll processing, schemas, tax calculations, replications, and off-cycle runs.
• Knowledge of payroll statutory compliance and regulations.
• Experience with cloud-based HR and payroll technologies.
• Strong data management and payroll integrations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration.
• Vendor management and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise payroll solutions across cloud HR platforms.
• Drive solution architecture and system enhancements.
• Ensure payroll systems are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT and vendors to deliver payroll solutions.
• Maintain system performance and support continuous improvement across payroll/HR systems.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT and release management.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Stay updated with payroll technologies and trends.
• Contribute to application strategy and roadmap planning.
• Support payroll system upgrades, maintenance, and audits.
