Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin or related field.
• 3–5 years purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• Chinese language ability preferred for sourcing.
• Experience in artwork management, packaging development or printed packaging procurement is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best quality, price and delivery terms.
• Purchase packaging materials, labels, printed materials and related items.
• Coordinate artwork development, revision, approval, and implementation with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Review artwork specifications for regulatory compliance and printing accuracy.
• Work with packaging/printing suppliers to resolve artwork and production issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan material purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Issue Purchase Orders and follow up on delivery schedules to meet production needs.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery and service.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through supplier negotiation and process improvements.
• Handle supplier complaints and corrective actions.
• Maintain purchasing records, contracts, supplier documentation and artwork files.
• Support new product development by sourcing new materials and coordinating packaging readiness.
