Job summary

SELBERAN JEWELLERY SDN BHD is seeking a Packaging Design Engineer to drive packaging engineering initiatives from concept to production in Kuala Lumpur. You will collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth design implementation and material suitability.

You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field, with 4+ years in packaging design or manufacturing engineering, and be proficient in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in packaging design, product packaging development or manufacturing engineering.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and packaging testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging engineering initiatives from concept to production.
• Collaborate with act managers & manufacturing teams for smooth design implementation.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine materials for packaging.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues to improve designs and efficiency.
• Train and guide junior packaging design engineers on workflows and design.
