Job summary

RGE Pte Ltd is seeking a Packaging Engineer in Selangor to lead packaging development across Southeast Asia. The role involves defining packaging specs for polybags, cartons, and pallets, and driving strategies that balance functionality and cost.

You will collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure sustainable, compliant packaging for all SKUs and promotions. Relocation to Selangor is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 1–2 years in a similar role is advantageous.
• Willing to relocate to Selangor, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging development projects from concept to implementation across SEA.
• Define primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging specs (polybags, cartons, pallets).
• Formulate long-term and short-term packaging strategies based on market insights.
• Evaluate designs, dimensions, and production processes to meet market needs while reducing costs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Product Development, Planning and Manufacturing.
• Monitor SEA packaging trends and regulatory requirements to stay competitive.
• Support sourcing of packaging materials and vendors when needed.
