Job summary

NTT DATA Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operating System Administrator to ensure availability and performance of Windows and Linux environments across NDBS sites in Cyberjaya. You will install, configure, patch, monitor, troubleshoot and design OS solutions while aligning with CIS benchmarks and security policies.

The role covers on-prem and cloud deployments, documentation, and knowledge sharing, with involvement in global standards, SLAs, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology.
• Min 7+ years of experience in IT focusing on Operating Systems (Linux & Windows).
• Certification in ITIL, Windows, Redhat or SUSE.
• Strong command in English, excellent verbal and presentation skills, great interpersonal skills and experience in international collaboration.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
• Able to travel if required.
• Willing to work during festive season (if needed).

Responsibilities

• Manage OS environments (Windows and Linux) across NDBS sites, including installation, configuration, patching, performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Design, deploy, maintain OS solutions (including Samba, FTP, Squid, Antivirus) in an enterprise environment.
• Perform OS hardening and security compliance per CIS benchmarks.
• Work with on‑premises and cloud environments; provide trend analyses to management.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and policies; participate in cross-functional collaboration.
