Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Manager Operations in Securities Services to lead operational risk management, client relationships and service delivery. You will drive process improvements, coach teams and ensure compliance with controls and SLAs across the operation.

The role requires extensive experience in back-office and middle-office securities operations, with strong leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate diploma or degree in any discipline is required.
• Experience in Securities Lending, Prime Finance, Financing & Collateral, or Markets Operations/Control is preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational risk, including identification, assessment, mitigation and controls.
• Maintain effective client relationships and identify areas for service improvements.
• Drive change and staff development to meet business objectives and SLAs.
• Oversee settlements and administration processes with focus on efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure governance, audits, and risk controls are in place and followed.
