Job summary

KIDE INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Site/Civil & Structural Construction Manager to plan, coordinate and supervise all civil and structural activities on site, ensuring works follow approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

You will monitor progress against the project schedule, coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers, review shop drawings and method statements, identify issues and implement solutions while maintaining safety, quality and cost control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• 8+ years of relevant construction experience in Malaysia.
• Experience managing large-scale civil/structural projects.
• Familiarity with Malaysian standards and authority procedures.
• Knowledge of drawings, specs, method statements, and quality requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all civil and structural construction activities on site.
• Manage works per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor progress and ensure works align with the approved programme.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, submissions, and work procedures.
• Identify construction issues and implement timely solutions.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resources.
• Ensure coordination between civil, structural, architectural, M&E, and other disciplines.
• Supervise foundations, piling, reinforced concrete, steel structures and related works.
• Oversee earthworks, drainage, roads, and external works as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management

Professional Engineer (Ir.) – BEM (advantage)

Membership with IEM (advantage)
