KEYFIELD OFFSHORE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Marine Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of offshore vessels, ensuring safety, compliance and operational readiness.

The role requires managing vessel performance, regulatory compliance, inspections, budgets and timely issue resolution while coordinating with crews, clients and vendors. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering or Nautical/Maritime Studies, a valid COC Class 3,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, Maritime Studies or related field.
• Certificate of Competency (COC), Min Class 3.
• Minimum 5 years of vessel operations management experience in oil & gas.
• Experience overseeing vessel maintenance, inspections and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned offshore vessels and ensure readiness for on-hire dates.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE, IMS and Savvy Mariner/OVMSA modules onboard all vessels.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, crews and internal teams to resolve issues and improve operations.
• Plan and lead vessel inspections and close-out actions (PHI, OVID, Class surveys, DP trials).
• Work with technical, crewing and commercial teams to resolve issues during charters.
