Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Senior Engineer - Project Leader (NPI) in Calamba, Philippines to qualify new products and support ST business requirements for quality, reliability and schedule. Qualifications

College degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communications Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years technical and project leadership experience in a similar environment.
Must have strong leadership skills.
Must have solid background in the manufacturing or semiconductor industry.
Must have good interpersonal & communications skills.
Must have initiative and resourcefulness.
Extensive knowledge of Excel, Office Suite.
English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Qualifies new products to support ST business requirements for quality, reliability and schedules.
Develops project milestones and deliverables schedules.
Defines the project team and communication infrastructure (coordination, operation and review forums).
Prepares resources to start new product qualification.
Organizes support on product workability, qualification, line stressing and review.
Supports Volume Ramp up team for technical issues during ramp up.
Identifies areas for cost reduction and devises methods for cost-efficient projects.
Manages manufacturing system setup and leads yield and cycle time reviews.
Performs PRB reviews: TGA, EVP, EVR, KT and KTV.
Monitors raw materials and procurement.
Leads team reviews for project progress and quality issues.
Ensures project execution and completion within agreed timeframes.
