Job summary

AMD Penang is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager to lead high-performance ATE test solutions for NPI in data center graphics and AI-related products. You will drive test coverage, patterns, and validation across design, test engineering, and reliability teams.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in electrical/computer engineering, with hands-on ATE experience (Advantest V93K/SMT8), programming skills in C++, Java, and scripting, and strong cross-functional leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or hands-on working experience with ATE test platforms.
• Strong test development and silicon characterization/debug experience.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) is a strong plus.
• 12+ years of industry experience in electrical/computer engineering.

Responsibilities

• Drive test solution and coverage development to meet milestones, cost and quality.
• Develop ATE test patterns and flows; perform debugging and characterization.
• Engage with design teams pre-silicon for scoping and validation.
• Lead post-silicon bring-up of test patterns for mass production enablement.
• Characterize designs, analyze yields, and optimize test coverage.
• Influence technical decisions impacting final product and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with distributed teams.
