Job summary

Bridgenet Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer to deliver advanced security engineering and 24/7 support for client environments. You will work with F5 LTM/WAF, NAC, Fortinet and other security technologies to troubleshoot incidents and drive remediation.

The role requires robust networking knowledge, experience with VPNs, IPS, and firewalls, and the ability to collaborate with field engineers, sales and project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of operational experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work after hours, weekends and public holidays (OT compensated).
• Knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP), routing and switching.
• Familiarity with F5 LTM/WAF/LC, NAC, Fortinet and other security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 high-quality technical support to customers remotely or onsite.
• Attend in-person meetings with clients to address incidents efficiently.
• Manage the status of resolution for all support cases and ensure SLA compliance.
• Escalate to relevant departments and keep stakeholders updated.
• Log necessary information for reporting and knowledge transfer.
