Job summary

ViewQwest seeks a Project Engineer to lead hands-on delivery of network and security projects—from design through implementation, testing and handover to Managed Services. You will work directly with customers, vendors and internal teams to deploy enterprise-grade infrastructure across multi-site environments.

This is an engineering delivery role with project ownership; you must independently design, configure, deploy and troubleshoot network and security solutions in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience delivering network and security projects in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to independently design, deploy, and troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and firewall solutions in production.
• Experience with multi-site rollouts and customer-facing roles.
• CCNP, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE4+, HCIP, Huawei SD-WAN certification or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and structured project delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network and security solutions across multi-site environments.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery including scoping, design, implementation, testing, documentation and handover.
• Provide on-site standby support during critical go-live windows and assist with handover to Managed Services.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams to gather requirements and validate technical specs.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network and firewall issues using Wireshark, CLI and vendor TAC.
• Create detailed project documentation, as-built diagrams and handover packs.
