Job summary

REDtone Digital Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and maintain enterprise network, security, and connectivity infrastructure across multi-vendor platforms. The role focuses on reliable, secure, and scalable solutions including enterprise routing, data centre networking, wireless, and WAN connectivity.

You will support system integration, deployment projects, performance optimization, and operational support aligned with business and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in enterprise networking or system integration roles.
• Experience supporting data centre networking and advanced routing technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and within project teams.
• Strong documentation and reporting capability.
• Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, data centre, and wireless networks.
• Deploy and configure routing, switching, firewall, SD-WAN, and wireless solutions in multi-vendor environments.
• Implement scalable and resilient network architecture using modern networking technologies.
• Integrate network infrastructure with enterprise systems, applications, and cloud platforms.
• Design redundancy, failover, and high availability network solutions.
• Implement and support data centre network fabric and overlay networking solutions.
• Implement firewall policies, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, and access control mechanisms.
• Deploy and support SD-WAN infrastructure for branch and hybrid connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity utilization.
• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for network and integration-related incidents.
